The federation of Ugnada Basketbal Associations  last year enrolled in a program run by FIBA called Fast Track. This program is a 3X3 development program that seeks to Fast Track national federation’s to improve their qualification for Olympic 2020. The program has two pillars (U18 and a continuation program which is U23,  involves international engagement across the different categories both Boys and Girls.

Uganda has set off Two teams  (Boys and Girls), they will be taking part in the U23 group a FIBA managed event called “U23 NATIONS LEAGUE”

Our participation in this is very key in improving our player ranking and also National Federation ranking in the world Fiba 3×3 Ranking for federation’s. It also greatly improves our chances for qualifying for U23 World Cup in October in East Asia.

Currently our Federation is ranked worldwide in the 39th Position , Zonal Ranking we are in the 3rd Position and with a total of  1,258,655 points
